Ever watch your trailer rock back & forth in the mirror when you're creeping through a gravel lot full of holes? That's what mine's doing now, and I'm parked. Just a tad bit windy here in Illinois.

Cracked DPF???? that's another thing i heard it could be and the symptoms sound about right.... Saigen it sounds like you got this thing down pack but lol but naw ive never had the DPF Warning light ever... but i have a load out of Tyson in Joslin, IL (Basically right across the River on I-88 from the Quad Cities Area) going to Emporia, KS and was told i can take it to Great Bend once i get empty to get it looked at by the mechanic there, someone spoke high of him so i hope that holds true and he can get this fix...

and hopefully then i can get one of those Tyson Kansas loads going back to Front Royal that don't pay worth a crap for the distance......but any how i hope this just get fixed... #### shame a 2010 truck putting on a #### smoke show with an Clean Idle sticker smh..

    Hey Minivans,

My previous statement is what they call, sarcasm, based on repairs that could not be completed in Virginia, for whatever reason? I'm with you on "run it until it breaks, except for tires and brakes". YMMV.

    Be safe.

Yeah that Scott dude at the Kansas yard used to be one of the mechanics at Sheldon. He's the big-cheese of the mechanics in KS. I just avoid that entire state at all costs because it seems that every time I go ANYWHERE in Kansas my reload always involves driving 200 miles empty, in the wrong direction than I want to go, to park at Holcomb and wait for the load for 20 hours.

I read a few post. If you have an ISX, you are about to have a total EGR cooler failure. It looks like white smoke. It seemed to happen under loads and hitting hills. It would go on for 15 minutes or so and clear up. I went through the same thing and went in numerous shops. It takes a month or two from the time the smoke starts to total failure. You gradually have an increase in coolant loss. When it holds 12 gallons it's hard to notice loss in that deceiving site glass. My last stop at a Pete dealer even told me not to put coolant in it, that it was full. They were clueless to the problem. I went back to our shop the next day and they put 2 gallons in it. Then 600 miles later it gave way and hydrolocked the cylinders. Luckily I popped her in nuetral and coasted in a pickle park that was right in front of me. I spent a week in the shop. What year is yours? Most I talked with had 2009's with the same problem.

His is a 2010. Probably has a 2009 motor if he doesn't have to piss in that little tank on the side yet. (I told 'em if they give me a truck with a DEF tank, I'm going to pee in it. They gave me a 2010 with a 2009 motor, no DEF tank)

2010 truck idk what year motor but it is an ISX 475...... and yeah that also sounds about right, the first time it happened it lasted for about 60 miles so around an hour... since then the longest have been that i've noticed right around 10 or 15 miles... but its really bad on hills, going across 88 this morning coming out of traffic soon as i got in to 8th Low (13 speed) it started to pour out and then once i hit the splitter into 8th high it goes again..... if its just in cruise control nothing will happen and even empty and bobtailing nothing will happen, but under a load thats when it comes...

Hawk - if it's a 2010 truck and doesn't have the DEF tank, then you've got a 2009 motor. The truck was MANUFACTURED in 2009, therefore you don't have the DEF bull**** that's required for diesels made after Jan 1, 2010

"Urea injection?! Oh...I thought it was urethra injection. Sorry."
    Although: http://www.wisegeek.com/m/what-is-urea.htm
Maybe we could just pee in there. Going green and saving money!
