They won't move either. I pulled up to that mine in Bonanza, Utah and there was a muley standing in the drive in front of the gate. I pulled right up to him to re-angle the trailer to back out (gate was shut) and he just looked at me like, "What? I been here, what do you want?"

Ever round a corner in south Dakota, to only have a muley standing on the double yellow line, and he expects you to miss him...

I used to work at a car dealership, one morning a tow truck brought a minivan in. It was the old Chevy one that looked like a DUSTBUSTER on the front.
The deer flipped up the sloped hood, head went through the windshield, and where the windshield meets the roof just happen to catch the neck of the deer causing instant de-capitation!
The body of the deer went over the roof and the head landed in the 2nd row bench seat!
That soccer mom was scarred for life!....................

Mulies ,stuid deer aren't smart enough to get out of the way.
ok eating, easy hunting. I have had times during hunting season where i have 2 standing close to each other, drop one, and the other one just stands there and looks at it trying to figure out what just happened.
Even had one about 4 feet from me once while i was gutting the one i shot.
not the brightest of critters thats for sure. But good eating, although white tail is much better. But deer meat is deer meat.
they have thinned out a bit around here, usually just before winter it get's nasty on the roads. i think i have only seen one a week on the side of the road lately, use to be one a day.
around here, its not the deer i worry about... moose and elk are what i really pay attention to, wana mess a rig up, smack one of those once.
I know a rancher a few hours away that got tired of deer messing up the front of his truck, so he built a grill of sorts.. its more like the front grill on a train, only his aim's the critters to drop in the bed of his truck.
I though he was joking until he pulled up one day and told me to go look int he back of his truck.
He said at 65 they clear the cab and drop in front of the tail gate.
no mess to clean up off the road, and no broken lights or holes in radiator. -
####, he needs to patent that grill and sell it.
