I'd be reporting that dealer to the KW hierarchy.
Its BS to treat customers like that.
I've had good luck with the MHC family.

You need to see if you can find an independent shop. They will charge much less than the dealer and probably get your truck out much faster. Most independents also don't charge the shop fee that the dealers feel the need to charge. Most independents that I have done business will only charge you for the time they spend on a repair. Most major dealers will go by the book. If the repair only takes 5 hours and the book calls for 8 then you pay for 8 with the dealers plus you will pay the much higher labor rate. An independent will usually only charge for 5 hours if that is what it takes to make the repair.
When I find an honest shop I try to get their card. If I have a problem and am either close to them or can make it to their shop I will get with them and have them make the repair rather than going to a dealer or a truck stop.Hanadarko Thanks this. -
Second this. I use the Champaign location for most service and have been to the Springfield location for minor work. Bloomington is huge and parts guys know their stuff. Just bought new Elite seat from them at a more than fair price. $679 for two-tone Ultra leather.

always had good luck with missoula kw.....great falls kw isnt to bad, but they charge ya to ship the parts a bit more.....plus i know the painter/shop forman....never ha da problem when i owned mine, or with the company truck i just order parts for

They are growing & adding more locations. They aren't perfect, but they won't lie to you about what you may buy from them. Didn't get that same feeling walking into the closest Pete dealer.

The guy that does all mechanic work at the farm hates the Bloomington Pete shop. You know something is wrong when a Pete dealer doesn't sell more than 2 trucks a month.

Like I said, I am done with Service at WI KW.
I found a decent mechanic at the Pete shop ironically - ($85/hr vs $117/hr at KW).
Now that I called CIT and they are willing to send me parts and what not, it became time to move on.
With the amount of money I dropped at KW, the red carpet should be rolled out but instead I get the "you need us more than we need you" attitude.
Enough was enough. My money is green like anyone elses...
