Hi. I just joined this forum, looking for Owner Operators who use websites to find service locations. No, I am not a truck driver and that's exactly why I've come to this forum. If I am posting in the wrong place or am breaking any forum rules, please let me know!
As I said, we are currently working on a new web-based locator tool for owner operators to find service locations. We're still in the early design phase, but we want to show some screens to people who would be using the locator to see if our designs are easy to understand and if they make sense. By getting feedback from users such as yourselves, we'll be able to design a better locator which is easy to use and quick to find the service location you need.
Would there be any interest here in helping us out? Ideally, we would set up something individually with interested people, figuring out a way to show you screens to get your feedback.
I will admit, this is the first forum I have reached out to, so we'll have to figure out the best way to do this on-the-fly if anyone here is willing to help. We would keep any "session" to a minimum - maybe 20-30 minutes.
Thank you very much for your time, consideration and help!
Will you help us design a better service locator?

I think you could start by explaining the value you bring with your application that differentiates you from every other service locater that's already available.
For example, I can find what I need using NTTS that's built into my Garmin gps faster than booting up a laptop to look at something else. -
Also, what kind of service locations? Are you talking only about vehicle maintenance, or are you including things like truck washes, pallet exchange locations, and other things that drivers may need out there? Most companies have deals set up with truck stop chains or other service chains and use their listings for locations.

And NTTS has a great app for my Android phone that lets me make a call right from the app.

The Garmin does the direct dial too if linked via bluetooth.

Welcome to a great forum. I'm with the rest of the members who have weighed in. Maybe I'm a little dense, but I have no clue what it is you are looking to develop.

Oh come one Big John, who would have ever said you are only a little dense.BigJohn54 Thanks this.

My wife for one!
Maybe I just refuse to read between the lines and like to have things spelled out.
