Hired at CWF

    Just wanted to let you guys know, I got hired at CWF..Soo excited right now. Did the drug testing yesterday and dropped the paperwork back off at the office. Start date is the 5th of July so its perfect timing as it gives me time to move into my new apartment. I think I'll be working the night shift to start, but no biggie, just glad to be in. So a personal thank you to Jakebrake12 and ACH1130 for all the help and insight you guys provided. Definitely appreciated, and I'm sure we will cross paths soon.

    Funny thing though. I applied to UPS Freight the same day I did Con-way and last night I got an email saying I was invited to fill out an application. Lol wtf mate. two good LTL companies and you're gonna make me choose? But I'm gonna stick it out with Con-way.

    thanks Gears and ACH, hopefully it'll get better for you man. Im hoping that because they wanna throw me on the night shift that there'll be work that the other guys dont wanna do.

    u will most likely go to carstadt, or newark. from brooklyn its not good miles and ull work the dock for about 6-8 hours, unless u get some nice vias. not sure where else they go to, my place goes to those, and milton pa and hagerstown. those r nice runs, for u to go to milton u would jus stay straight on 80 the whole time, very easy run, good miles. my supervisor sent me to all four since he wanted me to get an idea of all of them cuz if i sign up for saturday work and have to go down their at least i have an idea. I trainined for 4 days, then they sent me out on my own since they needed and extra driver and i felt ok. once it slowed down, they sent me training again to milton since i didnt get to c that.

    jus be careful of some of the sector supervisors at a FAC. some can get very bossy or rush rush rush, where as some r rele cool, if u go to carlstadt and get sector 2, hes rele cool, just let him no u r new and he will b more then willing to help u with n e thing u need
