I took a look at the showers at a Little America in that center area between the fuel islands and they didn't look any bigger than a regular Pilot shower.THBatMan8 Thanks this. -
If the Pilot/ J kiosk is working right, you don't have to talk to anyone to get a shower unless you pay with cash, as far as I know. Pretty much the same as TA/Petro, but those will accept cash at the kiosk/ rewards machine. Loves uses keys, with various ways of making sure you return the key, usually by keeping your loyalty card in the place they keep the keys, when you return the key, they return the card.
Smaller places may colect a returnable deposit, or keep your fuel card or drivers license.
Pilot showers have improved since the merger, and showers have become a part of an amenties war to keep drivers coming back, so most of them are getting cleaner, at least, and many are getting more comfortable and luxurious. Best shower I have had lately was at the TA at Ogallala, NE.
Good advice overall, from the quoted post -

Correct. My company has directed all drivers to fuel at TA exclusively since TA negotiated a price for fuel when others did not.
