walmart is the best driving job i've ever had

    my Aunt is a retired driver for walmart, and i'm a former order filler at a dc in AR and spoke to the drivers there about their pay grade and it was between .44 to .50 a mile

    what did you have to do to ride with him. Are you allowed to just go or have to pre-arrange?

    There's a link to the list of DC's that have open jobs for drivers. I tried to post it, but the site won't let a newbie do so until we build a certain number of posts. And right now, there's no jobs listed for Walmart.

    However, after delivering to a DC, the folks there told me that they're expecting a large number of retirements this year, and to keep an eye on the listing.

    They already had business cards with the site URL listed on it. From talking so some of their drivers, they seem happy with the place.

    I think the policy is only one person. Has to be immediate family. Grandkids are cool if parents sign something or other.

    What is the pay for WalMart extras like drop n hook etc.? Thanks

    would not have it any other way drop hook and book .34 to start wth raise after 6mts and 18 mts. 2500-3000 miles a week I don't turn down nuttin but da covers:biggrin_2556:
