HAHA here we go again, keep ur mouth (or fingers rather) shut about the subject.... you CANT do anything about it, and everyday there are trainers with only 3-4 months training.... Quit if ya dont like it

That's the way it works with the training companies, 6 months with some and your golden to be a trainer, ridiculous, 6 months and you're a super trucker. Amazing people cant figure out why the are so many truck accidents, go figure.

Really? Gonna get into personal attacks now? You'll get scolded for that around here...jus' sayin'. I been out here 21 years tomorrow and have NEVER even considered training and don't feel im qualified to do so but hey each to their own LOL. 1 years experience and that makes a trainer huh who da thunk it. As for the old line of "all" the training companies are doing it, that may be true but that doesn't make it right. jus sayin

Well I feel that Overconfidence is one of the biggest reasons for truck wrecks, us "rookies" dont drive fast in the snow or in traffic or on the mountains, its usailly the "seasoned vets" who have done it a million times make that mistake and smash that long nose whatever into a guard rail or off a cliff because they generally have the attitude "iv done this and bin here many times before, it cant happen to me" and "Im a better trucker than he is"

    This thread is awesome.

"Amateur Trucker", everything looking just like American-Trucker..Which I thought you were until I saw the truck. At first I thought ####, he's with a new company? Then the name pop'd out.. Haha made me laugh so hard.

However, to the post above this.. Stay on track. Stop b*tchin and complain about this and that.. This guy asked a question.. Not for people to bicker. And ULSD might have drivin' for more then a year and just didn't put the right time, you never know so stop calling people out..

Well iv bin truckin for just over a year and do feel confident, and im out here for one basic reason... Money... However i do care about my student and want to train them to the best of my ability, but the extra money is the real draw... If any on you say that this is wrong and that you train or would train just for the kicks of it, you a Blod face liar! You attacked me by hinting that i was not qualified to be a trainer, I guarntee within the last year we havent done very much diffrent driving our trucks, even with your 19 years under yer belt... We drive the same roads, sleep at the same truck stops, deliver our loads on time, pay for the same diesel fuel (assuming you own your truck) .... I think that alot of you elders here arent quite sure what to make of younger less expierenced drivers training, but yall like to repete stuff yall heard or read somewhere because it sounds good.....

Keep telling yourself that. There are super truckers, professionals, and rookies, everyone makes mistakes, nobody should be training after 6 months in a truck period, I don't give a #### who you are, period.
