Nope,,could you fill us in on the company? what is your take on them? They are located in Shelbyville, TN?
-
Pay docked for WHAT? There's lots of things a carrier could, and should, hold pay for... what's the real reason?
-
A company cannot take anything out of your pay other than taxes, unless you agree to it. Check with your state's labor board. Many state impose penalties (that go in your pocket) for theft of wages. Good luck.

Anybody feel the draft of the void being left by the missing details?
There has to be more to this.skibum_63, joseph1135 and RALPHMANBEARPONY Thank this. -
Yessir, definite vacuum.... being docked pay is usually to cover advances, damage from an accident, a ticket, or other monetary measures where the company put out money or your behalf.

Do not be so quick to throw a driver under the bus.Rooster1291979 Thanks this.

I'm not throwing anyone under the bus. Noting that those reasons are usually the only way your pay gets whacked.
And.... many folks are hotheads who never look at their paystubs long enough to see what a particular deduction is for - they just freak out. I've seen it too many times.
I recall a guy who went BALLASTIC on the payroll ladies at Southern Cal for deducting $260 out of his pay for a lumper. I mean he lost it - cussing, stomping.... they almost called the police, and he very nearly lost his job. Problem is, the moron didn't notice that they advanced him the money via Comcheck and then deducted it - his pay was the same, they just have to document the transaction so it matches the driver, truck, and load.Sly Fox, stuey, tracyq144 and 1 other person Thank this. -
No one is throwing anybody under any type of moving vehicle. But there are some details missing, and those details more often than not would fall under the categories listed by ronin in his post.
So don't jump to such quick and extended conclusions...stuey Thanks this. -
Yeah, so don't be bus chunking me, either!
