I have been working for a while at 4-B Trucking in Bridgeport hauling aggregate material. Great pay and honest people. They are looking for more company drivers and owner/operators, we have been taking material from Chico over to the metroplex at all the new roads they are building. Bosses said it was going to last upwards of 7+ years. Give them a hollar (940) 535 - 7300.

I started reading this post a few months ago and it has been very helpful. Thank you to everyone who posted information on here! I made the trip from Florida to Midland about a 11 days ago. I was hired by Texas Freight Relocators hauling water within a few hours of being in town. Some of the other drivers told me there is a company here that hauls crude oil with a work schedule of 15 days on and 7 off but couldn't remember the name. I really need a schedule simular to this because my family is still in Florida. I don't care if it's crude oil or water. Whatever pays best and has the best schedule. I'm currently working 12 hours a day 7 days a week at $17 an hour. If anyone has any information that will help please email me at dolphfan2003 at yahoo dot com. Thank you!

A piece of advise from you sir.
Can being the owner of two trucks with flatbed and having two drivers work for me get in contact with this placs to do business. We haul only in texas, mainly down south (LAredo TX) to dallas or houston tx and back and forth. I see that there are many loads out of cleburne tx but we get this loads through brokers. I may sound stupid with this questions but how I say im new. WHat is your advice, thanks -
not much flatbed loads for water or crude. youd need a tanker for that.
-
Yes, I'd have to agree with Lima. Water, sand, and crude oil wouldn't work to well with flatbeds. It would probably spill over the sides.

Sounds like the schedule that some of the crude haulers work would suit you. Do you already have your Hazmat? Speaking of which, I'm in Fort Worth and got my Hazmat recently, a job opportunity fell through. But here I am sitting with it and not using it, trying to decide what I want to look for. Don't want to haul fuel, everyone I've ever talked to that's done that says it's a pain. Don't really want to haul crude because it's not all that fast paced.
I think what I would like to do is something along the lines of working for one of the companies that provides chemicals to the wellsites, seems like you can get a better schedule and plus you're not driving a truck all the time, sometimes you're in a pickup working on pumps and things like that. Anyone have any tips or any other suggestions? I sure would appreciate it. -
No I don't have my Hazmat yet. I will be getting it in August. Hauling crude my be my best option for the schedule I'm looking for. Do you know of any companies that offer flexible schedules? Thanks! Oh, and as far as you being undecided about what you want to haul. I know there are help wanted signs everywhere here in Midland for CDL Drivers. Take your pick.
