Yes, I went through this program in 2006. I do not have any current information on their program. I know the tuition went up considerably.

My advice to you is to find a company you wish to work for. Get pre-hires from them. Make sure they will accept schooling from ACC (Interstate). Interstate is a program that should be recognized by everyone. Find a school that is close to home. Why have the expense and inconvienence of attending a school far from home?

When I attended ACC (Interstate) they had a turn over problem. They were constantly hiring new instructors. The head instructor was fired.

They do teach you enough to get your Commercial Drivers License. Testers will come out and test you in Interstates trucks.

I know the International school's program with Mountain View College up in Dallas is no longer available. I couldn't find anything online so I went to MV College to find this out.

If, by any chance, you decide to go to ATDS in Waco be sure to find out how many Weatherford employees are attending. I am at ATDS now and although the majority of these Weatherford guys are here to learn some are here to b!tch and moan and generally disrupt class. The instructor has addressed the problem but it still takes away from the learning environment. I paid out of pocket so I am more the anxious to get the most out of the program.
