Advice Please - Con-Way, Schneider, or WEL

Congratulations and welcome to a great forum to gather information and exchange ideas. I have no personal experience with any of your chioces and expect you will get some good input from drivers who do.

I'm not familar with WEL but I would personally consider the other two choices myself. Your short list beats most I've seen on here. Good luck.

 

I would call the recruiters for each company and ask them specific details - pay for training, pay for after training, benefits, days off, vacation days, 401k, health benefits etc. etc. and then base my decision on what is more important for me.

 

I work for Schneider, and have at one time or another considered both Con-Way and WEL as alternatives. I've considered leaving SNI but am still here and am happy for the most part (as happy as a grumpy 50-year-old trucker can be!).

I agree with the earlier comment that your short list is a lot better than any other I've seen. Ask the right questions and don't be afraid to press for answers.
