well hate to say it' but to park your truck on the side and no triangles or 4 way flashers' he or she was asking for it.i am sad it happened that way' but please if the driver was not parked there then i bet the other driver would not haved crashed into it.

Neither of the drivers did the right thing. Common sense should tell you to yeild your lane to a vehicle in the shoulder; and this driver didn't do that.
And I do hate it when trucks park on the shoulder. Running out of drive time does not qualify as a roadside emergency, so take the log violation and find somewhere safe to park. This could happen to you. -
I belive there is a "safe haven" reg, allows you to find the nearest safe haven w/out penality.

Yup, but, you cannot use this extension if you wait until the last minute to park. The extension can only be used during a un-planned adverse condition; such as high traffic volume.
