And the same from everyone at Watkins Shepard ad well.
My condolences go out to his family and friends both at home and from on the road.

A tragic reminder to everyone on how important that annoying seatbelt really is.
    Very sad.

Very sad day for WS. I heard about it from several of my WS friends. 22 years old his life had just begun. My deepest condolences go to his family. May Heavenly Father welcome him into his kingdom with open arms.

I looked at the pictures after I got a call from one of my supervisors at WS. 45 MPH? The flashing light at 25 MPH there is no reason for this type of accident. This is just one unfortunate loss a young man 2300 miles from home. This makes me angry and concerned all together. But really there is no point in this kind of accident even happening.

Do you think that if these people would just simply slow down that this would not happen? I have never driven though this section so I don't know personally. But it seems that slowing down would be a good start.

The problem is you cant see how bad the curve is until you are right up on it. Yes the signs tell you but then you see a really sharp curve that exits to Main street then all at once you are in another bad curve onto Bus 85/US64

And from this point it dont look so bad but the road rolls to the right as you start curving to the left

    This was my cousin's son.

YES he did have a seat belt on.
The services were in his home town in Indiana. He had only recently moved to Utah. He comes from a long line of truck drivers. My entire family are truck drivers including my dad and my uncles. Shane's dad is finding it very hard to get back on the truck himself. It was very sad day for the family.

As for facebook. He didn't have an account. His mom, brother and girlfriend does.

You heard wrong. He wasn't speeding. He was cleared of any wrong doing. This is my cousin. He was wearing a seat belt, he wasn't speeding and he did everything he was suppose to do to keep that truck from going over.

Sorry for your loss I dont know how fast he was going, I can tell you that that is a dangerous curve and depending on how a truck is loaded the posted 25mph can be way to fast especially not knowing the area. There are complaint and plans to reconstruct this area I have slowed to almost a stop and at times I have took it a 40 or more depending on a lot of factors but I have been around it hundreds if not thousands of times but when I come around it I have to come out and go completely cross the right lane into a right turning lane. I was there that morning and before getting run off I spoke with the police and a couple WS employees and they said he was thrown out so If he was wearing a seat belt if fail and you family might want to look into it. But from my view there was no seat belt worn or I would have seen it hanging across the seat. The camera I used to take the pictures is a professional camera the lens canon EF 70-200 IS L and I could see all the way inside the truck and the pictures I have you can read the inspection date on the trailer It had just been inspected two months ago
Again I am truly sorry for you family loss and know that you are in our prayers
