Hmm seems like I lucked out. Got my Columbia in the first of April with 480,000 in Gary... Just turned 514,000 when I backed in to the driveway last night.. Other than a P/M haven't seen the inside of a shop except to recharge my APU air conditioner... Guess I lucked out :biggrin_25525: *knock on wood.

Got a message on the qualcomm that I would be getting a different truck in Marshfield last week. Wasn't expecting much, but I can say I'm very happy with what truck I got.

2007 Freightliner Columbia Heritage Edition, 515 Detroit with a 13 speed.

I also don't like how Roehl turns down the HP on their trucks and govern them to 63 MPH (61 MPH on cruise control). The lack of power sucks especially when entering the highway from an on ramp on a hill. I don't why Roehl turns down the HP. THe trucks burn more fuel like that because the engines have to work harder.

They swear up and down that they do not cut the motors back, only limit the top MPH... I know they are lying, I have driven a 515 Detroit that has not been played with, and it has alot more than what Roehl's trucks have. More horsepower in the hands of a responsible driver almost always means higher MPG's. I do not understand how these companies figure less horsepower will get the job done cheaper?

Just go throu the moutains shifting at 1600. you should still see a 6.4 and my fld120 with a 3406E seems like it has more guts than my roehl truck did.

You answered your own question. You need responsible drivers to begin with.
