Hey AT, maybe Baritone will jump in on this one. He cooks his meals in a skillet so he has to clean that out somehow. I was wondering how he cleans up after cooking in the truck.
I am with you. I ain't taking that stuff inside the truck stop to clean it up. It would probably come out dirtier than it went in!

They ain't just at the truck stops!

I'm curious as well, also he likes to use a crock pot. I'm also curious which one he uses. I know the one I have here at the house gets pretty hot on the outside of it. Also nothing to keep the top on if tipped over. So if he is cooking with it going down the road how does he keep it secure & stable? Inquiring minds want to know!

I forgot about his crock pot. Yeah, he cooks in that as well. Hopefully he will see our questions here and let us in on his cooking/cleaning secrets. Maybe some good recipes too

for a crock pot you just use the liners so there is no clean up

some crock pots have a seal tight locking lid.. but yes keeping it away from things that could melt/catch fire would pose a good question.
As far as cleaning things, some vinegar and paper towels with a bit of lemon juice (for the smell) will keep things sanitary *lemon juice by itself is a bleaching agent*. Then rinse with a bit of water from your potable supply... good to go.rubberducky68 Thanks this. -
Shows how much I know about cooking

Shows how much I know about crock pots. The one I have is over 10 years old.

I use a crockpot and secure the lid with small bungees strapped to the handles. Works good for me.

Hey Bear. How's it going? You at home for the weekend or stuck out on the road?
