This is def.1 of the top ten worst places to go.They have no problem of keeping you there 6 to 7 hrs.and I have spoken with some drivers that has sat longer. They must be in businesss with C&S,they have the same philosphy pay an enormous lumper rate and then will keep you sitting.

Bozzuto's
exit 10 off of I-691 (Cheshire)
been there myself
but i was in/out rather quick, under 2 hours.
i had Poland springs bottled water... -
Lol! I dropped there once when I worked with Stevens Transport. I had to bobtail to an ATM because the lumper wouldn't take a comcheck.
-
dropped their myself, and watched the lumper dump the first pallet of meat as he was trying to pull it off the tail of the trailer, hooked it on the dock plate, and crushed 5 boxes, all with my cell phone video going... then I called the checker over to document the damage, and then waited... I had already been there 6 hours, after my appointment time... 4 hours later, I walk back in to see what is taking so long, and you guessed it, those 5 damaged boxes were back in my trailer... I threw them back out on the dock, walked up to talk to the Manager, showed him the video, and got my signed bills, received in full. 2 hours later I get a call from my companies OS&D, asking why I had not reported the 5 cases of damage.. I told them I had the bills of lading showing received all product. Stopped and faxed them in, and all was good...
I will never go back their again. -
I really believe they don't have alot of drivers going back there a second time. First time I went there was a few days before the 4th of July and I just figured they were backed up trying to stock up for the holiday. Took me in three and a half hours after my appointment time, two hours to unload and another hour to get my paperwork. Second time was about 5 weeks later and it was almost a repeat of my first visit. That was four years ago and as I've just read nothing has changed. I've also noticed their drivers think they'er above the rest of us drivers. Those bozo's don't realize if it wasn't for the outside carriers bring freight in those bozo's would be out of a job. I guess they think their pretty slick driving a chromed out "Sterling".

That place sucks been their many times
-
Company i was with hauls pallets out of there and I stood and watched the older beeotch behind the glass window yell at a guy that they would not under any circumstances sign the time on his bills. Her response to him politely asking so he wouldn't get hit from his next pick up was "No we don't do that" in her crotchety old voice. So glad I don't have to go there anymore even though I was usually in and out just listening to the way they speak to the drivers was enough to make feel like someone crapped in my wheaties.

Crap. It's one of the few places that called me back for an interview. I knew the pay wasn't all that good, but to hear that they are degrading to their drivers as well, means that if I do get the job, I might be in for a LONG and arduous 2 years to gain the civilian driving "experience" everyone else already wants you to have ( I have two years of hauling fuel and flatbeds in Iraq, but nobody counts that as driving apparently).
Awesome... -
When i started driving in 2OOO this was the first place i delivered to. I think i had late night appt. Had to hand unload and finally left at like 3 or 4 am....
