Next to my house there is a Denny's. Heck, there's a Denny's just about every-where. They have a grand slam for $3.99. You mean they don't have that at a Denny's in a truck-stop?

The grand slam is when they hit you with the ballbat...er, check.

Truckstops RARELY have promotions. Just like toll oasis's that they have. McDonalds along the highway has $1.50 anysize drinks, off the highway is $1.00 anysize.

You folks are flatly not going to believe this. Our local rag, The Spectrum, publishes a magazine called "St. George Magazine." And once or twice a year, they run an issue on "best of. . ." in the area.
Believe it or not, Denny's got an "honorable mention" under the family dining section in last Sunday's edition. . .
Of course you can't believe anything else you read in this newspaper, so why should their magazine be any different. . . -

Do some research on the group that put the info out there, Center for Science in the Public Interest. They are behind all kinds of ridiculous "studies". Not saying this is one of those but they are always spouting off about things they should leave to individuals to decide for themselves. They are in favor of the government deciding for us what is and is not good for us,nanny staters. I take much of what these people say with a grain of salt.
