rickybobby, And the rates into the northeast are good too? SHC has confirmed this, but I would ask 10 guys the same question. That day could come when it changes. Good luck with the program.

I'm in Charlotte tonight have the choice class in the am then I'll be on the board and running. I did the orientation in Green Bay and got my truck there and they ran my mileage wise till I got here to do the class. Ready to get it up and running but I do hear the midwest is the money runs as of now. I'm hoping there are good rates going in and out of oklahoma..

Anything with an odd number (i.e. 39, 726 Lbs) would be a preload and the weight would be off the bills.
Anything even (i.e. 40,000 or 44,000) generally turns out lighter than that. A lot of them are regular weekly (or more often than that) runs, and the weight is what the expected maximum would end up being, even though the usual load is much lighter.
The only times I've found the weight to be heavier than posted on the board is when the #### shipper decides not to count pallet weight. Hasn't happened many times on me, but it has a few. -

When I ran the Choice program (about 16 months ago) there were great paying loads of KC out of Swedesboro, NJ going to Costco stores. The loads were preloaded and multi drop live unloads. Many guys wouldn't run them, but I did all the time to get off the east coast. I picked them up in the afternoon and would start delivering around Pittsburgh the following morning at 4-5 stores. The loads paid around $1.70-.80 if I remember. This worked great for me since I had a little round setup going to Jersey and back.
