oh he just called back 4000.....still not enuff
-
I can't find anything decent moving this week either.
-
Lots of trucks wanting to leave home after the fourth, and the brokers are pocketing everything they can on these loads. Is it realistic to believe the shippers suddenly dropped what they pay for one week?
-
No, the brokers need to pay for all the fireworks they bought........

Those rates seem normal for going to OR. Can never figure that out when it is cheap coming out as well.
I had a direct going to Atlanta, so that doesn't count, but my rate going to OH was better than solid. Surprised on the rates. All the areas that I follow seemed to have more freight than normal. Talking Van rates. -
dry box here as well. i got a load of rolled paper in my home town heading to soiux falls sd for friday morning. got 2 bucks a mile for it. load here in about a hour. i guess i just need a little more patience.

Can you find anything decent out of that area? My last two trips to Dakotas I booked I had a reload and the trip out paid well. Both reloads got screwed up and ended up with major DH for OK rate.
And $2/mile on rolled paper is good. Have only found good rates on that coming out of WI.
