I retired 3 years ago at 62. I miss it a little, but not enough to want back in. I wouldn't mind a short hop now and then for an O/O.

I have about a year to go, waiting for the wife to reach 66 a year from Dec. I still like my job and can still roll pipe as good, or better, as the young guys. Then we will be like them old buzzards driving down the highway with the pickup and RV doing about 20 mph under the speed limit. Oh geez, am I there yet?????

Thanks Allow Me, When I toss in the towl soon, Im Union, and There rules are, Nothing involved in Trucking till Im 65 and over. I really do look forward to getting out of a truck. But, like I said, This has been my life for 38 years, It might be tough for the first few months, but hope to adapt real fast.
