Well, they're a flatbed operation, I think they might have some van freight. Years ago, they sold off their flatbed operation to SMX out of Ft. Dodge, Ia. then I noticed them hauling flatbed some time later, so not sure what actually happened.

I have one of their old volvos at the house that I bought from smx in 2000.I thought their flatbed was part of smx back then as we had a yard in yankton.

Yeah, when I worked for SMX in 2000, they had just bought some part of Marquardt (which I believe was the FB division) I know we (SMX) had some of Marquardts power units, those old Volvo single sleepers flatops. And we had agents/dispatchers out of Yangton, S.D. SMX also bought East-West out of Rapid City, S.D. But, I have no clue about Marquardt in 2010.

I currently am working for Marquardt.
They have a sister company, Skyway Trans., based in Waverly, NE that handles all the van/ reefer freight.
Not a bad company to work for....although their bene's could be priced better.
I've been with them for 2 years and will probably make it at least 3.
Freightliner Columbia's and Volvo's... they're looking to buy some new trucks within the next 6 months to a year.SouthernComfort Thanks this.
