SEWARD MOTOR FREIGHT - for those of you who questioned the authenticity of the story regarding the above company - believe me - it is a TRUE STORY. It happened to my husband - an individual who has a clean DMV record, delivers and picks up - always on schedule. Takes impeccable care of the truck. They faltered on their hiring commitments, one of which was to detail him home to equip his truck for a two to three week haul - didn't happen. Guess what, instead they sent him out for two and a half weeks with barebones clothing, equipment, food and no money. It was not real comfortable. And then they accused him of stealing company quipment - called the police & sheriff thinking he had their equipment in a black bag - "empty your bag, I am going to throw you in jail," said the chief. He dumped out the bag and three books fell out, written by Joel Osteen Well, the story gets juicier, but I won't tell except that it was a nightmare, but, I can say, if you commit to drive for this company - BEWARE! They have a revolving door - constant in and out.
