They had a female student out of Denver that trained with the local guy during the day. Denver used to have a female trainer, but that was over a year and a half ago I heard of that. I think its hard enough to get females into trucking and even harder for them to train.
I wish I could help ya out. I haven't had a student in almost 2 months and I am getting used to the solo lifestyle again.

If someone wanted you as a trainer could they request you? Or are you out of that game? With how helpful you are on this site I can just imagine how much one could learn running with you. Just thinking ahead to my future here with this. If I get through school and an offer from MTC comes my way.

I think for now I'm liking being alone. But, that all could change. I have only trained out of the Denver terminal though. I don't think it would be too hard to gRab you out of Portland though.Dozzer6 Thanks this.

I will keep that in mind. I do understand about being alone though. I think that is why I drawn to trucking, I like the solitude. Plus I'm an introvert.

Dozzer its required that all trainees must spoon the first week out with a trainer.

And here I didn't think my wife would be able to come with me. That's so cool.

I talked with Leona in recruiting (very nice and helpful) and she mentioned that out of the Phoenix terminal I would only really be eligible for running the Western 11 states. I know I should have asked her, but i'll ask you guys...what kind of miles can I be expecting with just running the Western 11?
