Glad to hear that there will be an account from all 3 schools so people have something to compare it with. Hope that both of you have a great experience in training.

Not able to take laptop with me to school. Wife will need it at home. I will start a journal for each day and as soon as I'm able to get on the Internet, I will post what training is like in GA. All ready to go to the bus station tomorrow at 8am in the morning! Maybe I'll see some of you either on the road or in Salt Lake!

Well my grayhound did not have wifi or outlets. However we are broken down at a piolt in eastern Oregon, on our way to SLC. We are waiting on another bus from Portland to show up. This is putting us behind by about 4 hours. Lucky I do not need to be there until Monday at 7. I just hope building 2 and the shuttle are still working so I can get picked up, and have some where to sleep tonight. I have never ridden on a grayhoud bus. It is an eye opening adventure to say the least. I have also found it is very hard to sleep on one. Hopefully the truck will be a little easer to sleep in.

Well my training is not going well at all. We were supposed to leave on Friday at 3pm I got to the terminal at 2. Trainer shows up and his tractor is still in the shop so we sit and wait. At 11:30 they finally get it done and we start out. We go about 100 miles and then loose oil pressure. Can't get it back up so head back to terminal and I check into a hotel at 2:30 am. Get a call at 9am from trainer says the tractor maybe done in 4-5 hrs. Get another call at 2pm saying we will not be able to go out until Monday afternoon around 1pm. So I am setting at home waiting. If I can't get out on Monday I'm going to see about switching trianers. I understand things happen and trucks break down but I'm not able to learn in a broken truck.

I have a question. My birth certificate is from Poland. I have the original with me and a simple translation, but the translation has no international apostille and international notarisation because my country started to do these services 3-4 months ago. To have all these things I need to go to my country and to visit 3 different government agencies. Essentially my birth certificate is not officially legalised according to the international law for use in USA. Do you think Central will accept it? It is not a big deal I think.

The reason for the birth certificate is to prove you are a legal USA citizen. If you are not a citizen of the USA, you will be required to show proof of your legal status in this country. So not sure what documentation you will need to do this but imagine it will be with visas and what not. I would call them and ask them what you need they will tell you.

That is easy. I will show them my permanent resident card and my social security card than. It should be enough. Thanks.

Since this question never got answered.. Swift and Central are sister companies. Central used to be owned by Dick Simon till he bankrupted the company. We are not a division of Swift.. Daddy swift bought out Dick Simon and gave the company to his daughter. Swift actuallybhas their own reefers and we haul a lot of dry van stuff..

I have a question. What about the marriage license. I do have one from Poland that is four years old. If I am not US citizen can I get current one here and where from? Or it is not a problem if I present the one I have (anyway my marriage situation is the same - single).
