strike would be illegal under patriot act

It would only take 4 days to criple this country I do not get where you all think it take longer. England driver striked took 3 days and goverment gave into there demand.

It is an idea being promoted by none other than George Caffentzis, a autonomist marxist, that happens to be a reporter for the national green party or the USA read it at greenparty.org and then google george caffentzis and read about him and the others that belive this crap.. They hate america and everything about america and want to turn it into the new socialist state for the greenies... Striking for a better way of life at work is the backbone of the usa. Its considered a freedom of speech and lawful assembly.. The us supreme court just ruled that the wackjobs that want to protest the funerals of returning veterans with signs like god hates killers, your son died for nothing, is there 1st ammendment right and is protected, along with burning the usa flag is a 1st ammendment guarantee,,, If striking for better wages and conditions does not fall into one of these categories, then we as a nation need to become greenie, marxist, commy, pinko socialists sheepeople... I rest my case.

Any sorry sob that would carry a sign to a military family funeral, that reads your son died for nothing and god hates him thats why he killed him. Or burns the flag of our country, is a terrorist and a threat to our safety as a nation. Not hard working men and woman fighting for wages to live on and support their familes with and tired of the huge bailouts these crooks that pass these stupid laws are making from our hard work and high taxes to feed their corrupt machine. If they aressted us for striking,,, then 1.) who else would drive the trucks? and 2.) where would they put us all?

For some drivers, federal prison would be a step UP in living conditions.
At least Inmates get free food & health care.

 

People get confused between what is a strike, and a what is a civil action - parking the truck in protest isn't the problem - using the truck to disrupt traffic, block roadways, businesses, etc (ala 1970's) ... is what would probably cause repercussions.

 

So surrounding the beltway with dropped trailers is out then? Bah, every one there has their own personal helecopter anyway!

Well truckers sor some reason can not get together and we need to stand up for our right. Use to we was respected on the roads songs made of our industry now we get flipped off fined and taxed to death. OOida has abandone what we once stood for us so give up on them

 

You cannot blame anyone but your fellow truckers for the lack of respect. The way some act and treat the motoring public it is no wonder there is little respect on the roads. It only takes a few to give the rest of us a bad name. When someone sees one driver act badly, they make a decision that every driver is of the same ilk. There is a general decline of the common decencies and courtesies that I few up with in this country. We have discussed it before, but there are too many who are only interested in themselves to try any sort of organized effort.

I am not sure what you want drivers to stand up for.

 

The east coast would feel it in 48hrs,by 72hrs everything up the 81 corridor would be at a stand still.

It would then take "WEEKS" to recover.
