Maybe they should just replace all truckers with robots because what everybody thinks we are. "It's 500 million degrees out there officer. I need my 10 hours of beauty sleep so I don't kill people." "Too bad. Shut off the truck or pay up." Maybe we should start holding New Jersey freight hostage.

I guess they want everyone to buy APU's. What the heck is wrong with the companies anyway? They buy 95,000 dollar trucks and they can't install portable generaters and portable heat/air units? I really don't get it.

Don't they realize that APUs also emit exhaust. These states are getting unrealistic. Next they will tell companies that they have to install electric PTOs. For me to unload my hauler, I have to fast idle my truck and set my PTO valve. I'm just waiting to be given a ticket for that.

Your already late on this call. The use of APU's.

California is already preparing to pass this law. The current bill (excuse me for not having the actual bill number) would make it illegal to idle ANY type of engine attached to a tractor. The only exceptions being the reefer unit, and PTO units used in the course of loading/unloading.
