If you kids are through playing grab-###; take another look at the windshield. That's not a "driver came thru" hole, that's a "something came INTO the cab" hole.

Sure is! I didn't notice until you pointed it out. Good eye there Kittyfoot. In light of this new evidence I'd say it wouldn't have mattered if the seat belt was worn or not.

It looks like he laid it over on the left side and someone broke the windshield out to get to the driver. There's no front damage to indicate the driver hit a solid object to throw anyone out.

Exactly. Due to the lack of front end damage I would say definetly not a driver thrown through the windsheild. I know 2 guys who have laid trucks over on the side and had to kick the windshield out to escape the cab.

Oh, and I NEVER wear a seatbelt so count me stupid.

that truck was clearly laid over....I know i Used to pick them back up
also, i dont think my kids could fit thru the windsheild of a 9400, let alone your normal fat trucker

I just hope that wasn't anybody I met while I was in Nashville. Western Express doesn't have too many of those old 9400s on the road anymore, they're switching over to the Cascadias and ProStars. Heck, most of the new drivers in my "class" got new trucks straight out of the gate. I was offered one right before I got cut loose.
