I got a cash advance on my com card to cover things like scale tickets and oil the truck needed while I was on the road. The money was taken out of my pay as expected and the reimbursements are shown too. But, the money isn't back on my com card yet. Does this just take a little longer or do I need to call someone about it?

if the money is deducted from my pay, it should be put back on the card. Right?

The way it was explained was that there is $300 on the card that can be used by the driver to cover whatever needs he (or she) may have while on the road. The money is then taken your next paycheck and the card is filled up again to $300.

ok no. The com card is like ok you made 2000... they take 300 of it and put it on your card. and the other 1700 goes into the bank. And every week or how you get paid will they will take 300 and put it on your card. Right.

Your advance/expense/reimbursement should balance on your pay settlement. The way mine works is we can have 160/wk advance. If we use it all or any portion of it its deducted from or next paycheck. Every monday night at midnight it replenishes to 160.00. No carry over from the week before if we only took say, 50. Max is 160.

The money is ours. If we use it for reimbursable expense fine, turn in the receipts. If we spend it on personal stuff that's ok too. Either way for us if you take the advance it comes outta your check. Thus the word advance.

You used the money from com data to fix a company truck.

I know the companies charge it to the driver, but in reality, it should NEVER hit your pay.

It is their problem, not yours, unless you are their bank.

I think my question wasn't clear.

To start, my com card had $300 I could use if I needed anything on the road. Let's say I got an advance of $150 and that amount was taken from my next paycheck. But, it hasn't shown up again on my com card. How long after I get paid should it take before the cash is back on my com card?

I have never taken an advance on the road.

Depends how they set it up.

$300 on the card, until it is ALL used............

    Then they replenish, perhaps..
