Schneider and their Physical

    Well, I went to a Schneider job fair that was suppose to be held in Steubenville, Ohio today at the Hampton Inn. There were about 9 of us that showed up only to find that it had been cancelled. Not sure that I want to drive for SNI but I thought I would go over and see what they had to say/offer. I start my CDL class in a couple of weeks.

    Anyway, I am told that SNI is doing some sort of Physical now and are bouncing people out on the first day of orientation based on their heart rate. Any idea what this test is and how they determine a target heart rate?

    Also, I take medication for an irregular heart beat. Do I need to be concerned about this with other companies?:biggrin_25511:

    This has been discussed elsewhere on this site recently, but I couldn't find it. Here's a link to a PDF file from SNI's site which will show you the "exercises" they will have you do; pretty simple stuff, really. I don't know how they figure a "target" heartbeat, but I believe your age is factored in. As for irregular heartbeat, I haven't a clue. If you find out anything on that, I would like to know.
