spent the night driving across the l.a. basin. absolutely the best time to do it. i'm now sitting at the receiver in fresno, ca. unload appt. isn't till 1400. nap time.

 

What? ... You saying you don't enjpoy them nice leisurely drives from Van Nuys to Redlands on a Friday afternoon???

I remember digging those things up along the lane as a kid. Used to grow wild in NC and we used to spend the summers at my grandpops farm. MAN they were good! I wasn't allowed to touch ANY of the peanuts he was growing in the fields though.

 

Lancaster terminal. Man is it hot down here. 72 and sunny in wisconsin and I am down here. Ohh well maybe after midnight I can get a preplan and get out of here.

 

In Lancaster as well, but truck is in shop so I am in a nearby motel or I would buy you a coke.

You seem to stay in motels a lot You keep the same truck or you always get a different one. I thought the last time you where in Lancaster you where also in a motel and your truck was in the shop.

I just got out of a motel after five days. can't complain indoor pool,bar and eatery. Could not visit the bar never know when you are leaving.

 

North Little Rock Petro. Had just enough time to get here after waiting 7 hours on a preloaded trailer that was not ready and get bad news on my scale ticket. 35400 on drives with tandems on the 1st hole so now I get to go back to these morons and wait God knows how long for them to figure out how to rework it.

 

Keep the same truck. It's all in how you ask. I'm still subbing on the shuttle, so I just use the day cab of the guy I am subbing for while my truck is in the shop. Since it is in the shop with wheels off or a bad starter I can not stay in it at night, so They pay half of my hotel stay. I pay the other half because I don't want a room mate.
