Unfortunately, yes.

 

As you can see...and this a rare occasion here on TTR...it seems there is complete agreement on my initial call....truck abandonment is very serious, especially with a loaded trailer.....we all forgot to include that!

I wonder how much is missing or how much is left on that trailer...and it won't matter what the commodity is...something or all will come up missing if the company can find a better price or someone to take the goods at a discount then claim an insurance (profit)loss! And guess who gets blamed........

 

Typically this is where we would throw in our politics and say something ridiculous. That's who gets blamed right? Or maybe the former driver that left a load unattened and then shared the location on a public forum.

2. Quit with out notice
3. Quit under load

3 strikes ....... herm .... I think he's out.

 

soooooo what is in the trailer?-----any big screens???? hmmm i do need a new lawn mower---you might as well sell the stuff outta the trailer--might be the only money you make for awhile

 

While I was chastised for my previous comment, allow me to re-phrase.

As always there has got to be more to this story. Responsible/reasonable people do not make decisions like this, tell others about it and expect them to believe it, do they?

I see this scenario where I work, it happens quite often actually. At first I didn't understand, then I went to one of our terminals, interacted with some of our "special" employees.........it all became so clear

be afraid of the bad man.......he's gonna get ya, look how he got me.......lol

 

we've hired people and then after they are working for us for a few weeks and we find out that they abandoned their equipment at their last job we usually route them to corporate and term them.
