Hey Alan, Glad u paid your ride off, Kathy and I are still here and doing well! We keep getting closer to the moment when mine is paid off as well! Goes to show with the right attitude, proper planing financially!, attention to the load and the details that go with it, I made the right choice too! i know what u mean,,i didnt know at first how i would like it after so many company years,,but i have to say its great,,better control of the hometime and pay,,,havent found a real bad downside yet

why did you allow yourself to go negative?,,just save enough to cover the fixed expenses b4 you go home,then just mail in the check to payroll,,thats what most of us do.

I have been glancing over jct for a while, have a friend that worked for jct aswell. got fair amount of infro from him.
Main thing is I am trying to see how it would be for a ream to lease purchase from jct, how many miles can we expect to get, i know lease option is discouraged but using their "calculator" there might still be money to be made.
Maybe someone can help me clear some fog up in regards to jct.

Im a solo jct driver i have a 2009 kw t 660 im at home on my home time for 3 days yes i make a paycheck yes i run hard yes they run u hard match all fuel stops yes u can refuse a load yes they are no force dispatch but why would you refuse a load my truck payment is 607 a week thats with the apu no big deal im getting around 3300 mile a week ive been here 7 weeks now -- if u wanna be home evry 2 weeks this is not a job for you
