corneileous and misc Thank this. -
Flatbed or vented van.... most brokers (and shippers) require venting - can't get much more vented than a flatbed.
-
Yep I hauled a load in my reefer
-
Venting and sometimes loaded in the field.
-
yes loading is a big part of it. I've hauled other produce on a flatbed. its loaded in the field then taken else where to be processed.

I've also seen watermellons hauled on a flat. Only once, not sure how common it is.

Hauled onions, potatos, and watermelons in a cover wagon for quite a few years. Not sure if Flordia allows watermelons to be hauled in cover wagon anymore though that was hear say.
