DOT physical cannot be within 90 days of expiring. We have to get DOT physicals done.

If you are overweight, do not go to a Concentra Clinic. They will do that sleep apnea BS even though DOT does not require it.

Hey ye all.. Thanks for all the good info.. Landstar sent me a qualification packet with a couple of recent load board examples. Does anyone know if the revenue and RPM listed for a particular load is before or after Landstars' %? The rates seem pretty low.:biggrin_2556: Also, looks like they do mostly flatbed. When they list 48FL for trailer type is that a 48 ft flatbed? The examples they sent all originate out of the NW where I am located so maybe thats why so much flatbed. Thanks for any advice. I am looking at buying a 2009 Cascadia w/a DD15 that has 310K for 89k. Putting 10K down. Cant decide wether to do a 3 or 4 year loan.:biggrin_25521:

The rate is before LS takes their percentage. Rates out of the NW have always been low.

Oh you are very welcome...Trying to pay that much AND learn the Landstar system while only relying on their load board and not having any agents giving you the better paying freight....good luck!!
