They give off a lot of gas. I've seen them blow doors off of non-vented trailers.

I really pizzed off a reefer driver one night a couple months back. When I passed him he asked how many bags of onions I had on I said 1100, how many do you have I asked, 750 he said. A few seconds later he G##D### you gotta be over weight, my reply was is there a problem? And I trucked on out of sight.
