Hey - thanks for taking the time to watch the video's. I appreciate that! We run from Texas to the east coast mainly. We do not have APU's and do idle when needed. There are thresholds for idleing - but unless you're in the Midwest/Northeast you're idleing a lot in the summer.

Dispatching is pretty simple. When you first go solo you'll get one of two dispatchers and will stay with them until they see youre able to make appointments and such. Then you'll be moved to a "regular" dispatcher.

I am working on my next video which will have a truck tour of the new truck. Should be out soon.

Take care and again thanks for following us along!

Baritone during your first couple of months do you stay in a specific area until dispatch feels you're ready/comfortable driving the 48? Thanks

Baritone during your first few months with the company do you generally stay in a specific area until dispatch feels you're ready/comfortable driving the 48. Thanks

Millis pretty much stays east of the Mississippi river with some runs to Texas and some to Minnesota.

Well Guys - Another major milestone has passed!

TODAY I completed 1 year solo. I have ran 136,854 miles since July 20, 2010. Not sure if that's good or bad but I am pretty proud of it. Averages out to about 11.404 per month since I started.

Time to start tolling towards even a better 2011. Getting loaded in Suffolk, VA and heading to Pontoon Beach, IL for Friday Delivery.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

Congratulations on your one year. I'm all done with school in Trenton, and home waiting to go out with my trainer on Monday the 25th. Getting things squared away at home before my road trip LOL. Be safe out there

I gotta ask brother,:), who was the lucky or wise sole that you thanked on this forum? I think I want to follow that driver's posts. Lol!
