I been here since Feb, and I don't think they're the greatest, and I ge pissed at them a good bit, but honestly I'd say that story was about as truthful as anything you hear from a trucker at the Pilot...LOL

4 blown transmissions?? That's so far fetched! Sounds like someone whom couldn't shift a transmission to save their life & wants to blame the company for their imcompentancy! I know transmissions can go out but the odds of 4 consecutive transmissions going out are slim to none.

When I worked there I went through 2 transmissions in proly about 4 months. The first was an automatic. I was having problems with it shifting into gear from neutral for awhile, but every time I was near a terminal it worked fine, and they told me to drive it. Wasn't a real big deal until it wouldn't shift in to gear at a scalehouse in FL when I stopped before crossing the scale. I sat there for about five minutes before I finally got it to move, but thankfully nobody came out and I wasn't called in. Apparently something was wrong with the computer.

Then they put me in an old trainer truck with over 500,000, and the transmission sounded terrible, but they told me to keep driving it. That one left me sitting on the side of the OH turnpike stuck in 10th gear with all the trans fluid leaked out. My third and final truck was great, an old 9400 manual that ran really strong and never had any serious problems.

4 transmissions in 5 months sounds pretty ridiculous, but I do know they had a lot of problems with those autoshifts. I absolutely hated my auto, even when it worked fine. It was really just aggravating.
