I've got tons upon tons of good tri-shield RG6 coax from my last job. I've ordered some pl-259 to F connectors and planned to run my wire for my CB set up so it would be cleaner and not have a bunch of excess to deal with. My question is will I run into any issues using the RG6?
RG6 as CB coax.

Yes it will have a built in 1.5:1 SWR

Just from the coax. Hmm. not including connectors that stinks. I'm using a Wilson 2000 so I don't have a cheap antenna so that should help.

Why so high? Is it the impedance difference in the 6?
-
RG-6 is 75 ohms not 50

He is correct. But you can use it if you co-phase antennas.

BTW .... F connectors are not made to handle power I would not even try over 100 watts ......
