Withholding evidence such as this should result in the police and prosecutors who were involved having to serve some hard prison time. It sounds more like a frame up than they were using real evidence. It would be good if they could give this as much publicity as the other lies that they claimed in court and in the media.

I don't disagree with that at all. The scary thing is that it is FAR from perfect.

On the subject of capital punishment, I am also in agreement with several of you. I used to be in favor of it. Today? Not at all. Like GMAN, I feel that there are some that probably deserve it...like Charles Manson. Unfortunately, there is a caveat to just handing someone a life sentence. Many prisons these days are set up to cater to the comfort of a prisoner. They get shelter, 3 meals a day, lots of entertainment, etc. etc. and that diminishes the idea that prison should be a punishment. Say what you want about Sheriff Joe, but he's got to the right idea.

I think you would find that capital punishment could be quickly eliminated across the nation if victims and families of victims felt like a prison sentence was justice. But since we are beholden to the ACLU and countless laws to make prison in most cases seem like day camp, people hang on to the capital punishment option because they feel it's the only way justice can be served.

Just one of the reasons our system is FAR from perfect.

As far as Casey Anthony goes, I think most people would have been perfectly happy to see her convicted on a number of lesser charges and sentenced to a number of years in prison. At least they could have still pursued the investigation and kept open the option of nailing her on more serious charges.

Unfortunately, this whole this was a friggen' circus on both sides of the bench and ultimately, a little girl is still dead and no one is being held accountable for her death or what happened afterwards. In this case, FAR from perfect blew up in our faces.

I think that she was already offered some money to star in a series of porn films. She needs money for the attorney fees from the trial, for her safe house, for her security detail, for food, for entertainment, for transportation, attorney fees for the upcoming lawsuits, etc. I don't know if she is a college graduate (and if so, what's her major) or what job she had before all this hit the fan.

Now, wait a minute ... not so fast ... I want to see her in one porn (or many porn films !) ...

Looks like I will have to be my own film producer, editor, director, wardrobe/make up/hair stylist, etc. and make a film with her.

Casey ... please call me, thanks !

My theory on why that producer withdrew his offer is all the Photoshop clowns out there who make the pictures of Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Alba doing certain things they never did. A real producer might not want to invest so much money just to have people question whether or not it's really Casey Anthony or just Photoshop stuff.

If the identity and legitimacy of the videos/pictures could be proven not to be fake, I suppose porn of the absolute most degrading nature would be the only thing people would want to see, because they could "justify" in their own little minds that they just wanted to see her humiliated & "punished". And if it's THAT degrading, her lawyers wouldn't let her do it.

I have been interested in trying to find out what type of work she did before jail time and the trial, etc. Did she graduate from college, since she's twenty-five, that is a possibility. If she did graduate, what was her major? What type of job is she qualified to do? I found nothing about her being in college but I did find something about her working at Universal Studios Orlando.

Here's what other people think she did all day ...

    http://humbleopinion.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/what-did-casey-anthony-do-all-day/

What type of job will she get now? What is she qualified for? After her fifteen minutes of fame are up, what will she do to make money on Minute Sixteen?

Another thought, though not based on occupation ... her marriage partners ... I assume that every guy she will come across from now on will know of her and what she did (and may not have done) but that will make him question "Will she be a fit mother"? If not, then, why am I bothering with her?

I wonder if this will make her not to be marriage material.

There's a lot of ideas being thrown around between her and her handlers but I don't see anything that has been sealed with a contract. Even if a contract for a television appearance for one million dollars has been sealed and will go off, she will not get that much. Back out taxes, overhead for her lifestyle and the cost of lawyers, etc. to defend her against the lawsuits piling up. A million dollars sure sounds like a lot to Mr. and Mrs. Main Street but in her particular situation, one million dollars will not go very far.

Let me check on those photo spreads on the magazine circuit !
