I hear Conway Truckload has a uniform you must wear can some explain the policy on uniforms. Like do you have to wear them all the time otr or just when dropping or picking up loads or ect. Thanks in advance

No uniform at all. Dress presentable and be hygienic. I believe you are not allowed facial piercings or offensive tattoos but that is it. Tattoo policy is a common sense basis, I have a 16 inch by 5 inch on my leg they have no issues because it is non-offensive in nature. If you are of the younger generation like myself than a few things to keep in mind that no one on the road likes to see.
-Baggy pants sagging to your knees
    -staind shirts
    - NO SANDALS (company policy)
    -no offensive t-shirts
-no excessively ripped jeans/ t-shirts ( use your judgment I own some diesel and lucky brand jeans with rips that came that way and there is no issue)

Please remember it's a profession so dress "business very casual" but not college dorm room casual

ya I am 33 the younger generation and currently going to school to get my CDL and I don't wear saggy pants and offensize t-shirts I like sandles in the summer but I can live without them and I don't wear trashing clothes and shower regularly, I would wear jeans and t-shirts and shorts and t-shirts in the summer with boots or tennnis shoes, I got me a 12" by 6" tat on my leg so its good to hear they don't care and I got a brow eye ring I can remove it if need be no big deal. thanks for the info

Uniforms are not required by Con-Way truckloads. Company shirts can be purchased in the company store in Joplin. I wear them because they are only ten bucks (cheap for a shirt) and I can take them off my taxes. Many drivers wear sandals but most customers require closed toe footwear.
Remember that you represent not only yourself but a company to the public. So show some pride. The respect you give is the respect you get.

I agree I'm not really the dress up type put I am not a piece of trash either I wear alot of skull tshirts and band tshirts and don't wear anything with holes unless I am at home doing work or what ever, I got a few dress shirts I will keep with me just in case and will only wear sandles when driving and change shoes before dropping loads. Thanks

I heard the reason Conwaygirl has been so quiet is someone told on her and she went to Bad Girl Driver Jail because of her footwear. No, really. I heard that.

Ha! I just posted bail. LoL, no I have just had a rough week. I am thinking about going solo, in life that is, and getting out of the truck...I miss having a real home to go home to. I also miss having a Christmas tree!! :) Anyway, that is why I have been so
    quiet.
