Does ATS take Urine , Hair or Blood???

Sorry, that's a strange question, if you're clean, what difference does it make?...You could ask them ya know...

 

Urine, last time I was tested.

 

I'd rather they pluck out a hair than have to sit there for an hour drinking water, then hold it while waiting for the testing people to fill out paperwork and explain it to me like I've never done it before and don't know how to piss in a cup. Just yank a hair out and be done with it.
And no, they ain't sticking me with no needles and making me light-headed and then giving me a shot glass full of apple juice and saying that's gonna make it all better.

I'm not sure about ATS but the man had to do hair and since it was so short on his head they took chest hair.(which has never been cut or shaved)

When his recruiter called my man said "so what did you find,just a little worried how far back it might go" and they said well some baby asprin from way back.....LOL

 

What trucking companies do hair folicol test?

 

Schneider does. It doesn't matter. The urine test is DOT. The hair follicle test is not. The hair follicle test can be company policy test. But if you fail cannot be reported as a DOT test fail. It is not yet required by DOT.

 

I'm as clean as a whistle and I'm curious about what the differences are.

I'll pass any and all of them, but some people are inquisitive; I'm one of them.

 

The difference is a follicle test is quicker and you always have a hair to be plucked....you don't always have to piss. I don't need someone to hold my pecker if they just pluck a hair. Other than that they can test for the same things, DOT just hasn't caught on to this yet.
