Hey guys hope your staying cool, although I don't know how you could this heat is incredible.I just want to put my two cents in on the california loads I've been here 5 months and been out there twice. In the 26 years I've been a trucker everyplace I've worked there have been guys crying about favoritism involving dispatch most of these guys are whiny babies who you can never make happy no matter what. Well that's my opinion for what its worth be safe out there guys.

LMAO!! Next time you're in Sheldon, ask Jeanne about "the jockey" who used to drive for VW. He's this little British runt from Brooklyn who used to be a horse jockey but apparently fell off the horse and hit his head one too many times. Jeanne will be able to tell you stories that'll top anything you've heard about whiny, paranoid, annoying, and obnoxious truck drivers. I can guarantee you will not be bored by what she'll tell you about this guy!

Actually, maybe "CruiseDirector" can tell the story. -
Overspeed percentage is based on motion, so like myself when it goes over 5%, I slow her down for a few hundred and she'll come down, thank God for cruise.
Concerning whiney babies, etc., that may be the case in some instances so you can either rollover or voice your opinion. Some drivers will tell you they do not go out west, well you figure it out. Like I said before as long it doesn't effect my operation I don't care, but fair is fair. You guys take care I'm off until the first of August.
Be safe and stay COOL. -
Not happy with Waynesboro right now...anyway...
Can I park at Dot in Mt. Sterling? -
lol what did they do.... you know the head man is out on vacation, when i called early to get put on the list in front royal (which i feel didn't get accomplished based on there person reaction but we shall find out tomorrow) they sounded like they was in a bit in a jam...
she asked me did i want to keep running when i got back to Virginia and i said "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" I don't do that, i do my 5 to 6 days and go home!!! sorry to sound like a pompous ### but i can't stay in this truck for more than 7 days... if it ever got to the point where we was staying out two weeks at a time, i will delightfully hand the keys and walk away, lets just hope it doesn't get this way.......
but at DOT in Mt, Sterling i know there's a fuel stop about a mile down the road, i got there late during one of those brutal snow storms so i didnt have to park overnight... -
Haha. Yeah they needed trucks Sunday and I was one of the suckers they got for the job. Meanwhile the other hand in Sheldon was trying to give me a nice Monday morning preset straight to Sioux City. But instead I got a 300 mile DH to Mt. Crawford on Sunday for a two stopper ending in Sterling, IL Sam's Club. Thanks for the tip but I'm not doing Dot anymore. Can anyone tell me about parking at Vistar in Woodridge?
-
Ah forget it. I am delivering at Sam's the same day so it doesn't matter. About to get my beauty sleep here at the 232 in Ohio. Stay cool and be safe.

Guess who's getting a new tr--uck...
-
New-new? or New to you?
-
New to me. Details to follow. Angie just mentioned it matter-of-factually when I called for an EFS auth. I on the other hand, lost my train of thought. Lol
