I suspect Krooser was pulling your leg. His sense of humor is a bit dryer than mine and mine is like desert sand.

Thasickzda: I looked at your profile, but didn't see much about you...from your screen name, I'll take a stab in the dark and guess...Are you from an Eastern European country? If so, and if your English is poor, I would recommend going to a local library and borrowing some English Language tapes, and improving your English writing and Speaking (if needed) skills.

Also, in the USA, almost in every state, there is an opportunity for you to ERASE that misdemeanor off of your record, but ONLY after 5-7 years, and ONLY if it the only conviction you have. The process is known as "Expungement", and if you google that and the name of your state, you'll find information about it.

I agree with the gentleman who recommended finding aggregate companies to drive for initially. Might also check into road construction crews.

Thasickzda, this is a rough profession, especially for foreign folks; GET YOUR ENGLISH CLEAN, sound professional, and it will help you get along.

If I'm mistaken about your roots, I apologize. Just maybe be careful about posting with good grammar and spelling.

Good Luck to you sir, and think yourself through this process.

The veterans are right. Just because you have a rash of "bad luck" doesn't mean you are completely unhireable. I know plenty of drivers with felonies. However they have a long hard road than ahead of them, much harder than other drivers. Honestly I think a felony is better than a DUI. But like the other guy said you will have to start knocking on doors and sell yourself and get someone to believe in you and what you have to offer. Remember every driver here started somewhere without experiance. Good luck keep your head high!

I don't respond to these usually, but the entertainment value for his post and what followed is outstanding.

I think our chain is being pulled, HARD, the advice/replies are great, but I really think someone is entertaining us at our expense.

Go back and read from the begining, if it doesn't bring a smile to your face, then I am a real sick person and probably need help of my own.

Just my thought. If I am wrong, I will gladly eat my words.

    Have a great day!
