3946 miles,,also bought too much fuel before next dispatch (my mistake) that means that i would have made 253.66 dollars more,,,this is what i mean by whatching your fuel purchase times,,i knew i had enough income even with an extra fuel purchase,,however,if you know its going to be a payday when you need every possible dime at home then stretch your fuel out as much as possible.

Missing the .44 cents per mile fuel surcharge with an avg of 6.5 mpg=$2.86 off of pump price(loves, pilot a few cents more every cent counts), so $4.00 a gal fuel = $1.14 that you pay and then 3000/6.5mpg=461.54x$1.14=526.15. The fuel surcharge is the major reason this all works. TY J.L.:biggrin_25519: p.s. Fuel surcharge varies a cent or two during any given month/week?

Keep in mind that 8% of gross does not account for deductions! In reality its not that bad..keep in mind we run alot of west coast....if you time your fuel right you'll never need to fuel in Cali, except for maybe just enough to get u out of there. AZ has fuel about 20 cents lessthan natl avg. Just go to keep in mind every penny counts and every MPG improvement over 6 makes you more money without running hard

I've enjoyed thes info allot been a company driver for a while just tired of sitting waiting for someone else to decide how much I can do. Seems like JCT a fit for those not afraid to put the effort in.

Hey all, still hanging around waiting on "THE CALL" :biggrin_25525: How is everybody? One question does jct still get cascadia's? I thought I read in here that freightliner was not honoring the warranty so jct quit getting them. Seen a pro-star(teal) in York on Monday didn't get a chance to talk to that driver(s),and I'm up to page 401 on this thread almost caught up. Hope to meet some of you when I'm out making $$$$
working on my MBA=Mobile Business Adventure :idea1: TY -JL- -Its not the drive ahead of you it's the drive in you-
