Here is the email that I got back:

"As it looks right at the moment we will be hiring three drivers from this add and you will be making two possibly three loads , but most likely two one from Paso Robles and then another from Sacramento and then being flown back to Sacramento from Minneapolis. You would be riding in a company truck from Des Moines to Sacramento With Company Drivers to get to your second load. If you are still interested please send via email copy of your drivers license, medical card, and current MVR print out. Time expected for this trip would be approx 9 days."

    Interesting:biggrin_25524:.

I wouldn't touch it with a pole of any length! Sounds like a temp job, anyway...

It's a scam. As soon as you send them a copy of your DL, they are going to laminate it, hand it to Pedro and he'll make the haul for $250

Suggests a crop -- grapes? (I've delivered irrigation pipe to vineyards near Paso Robles). Alfalfa? Onions? Garlic? A (six-week) seasonal gig?

That's what I thought too, but then I realized it didn't originate in Humboldt and the pay was far too low. Nope, looks like just another crappy driving job. Been there, done that.

That's the sad part, he probably is, and I bet more than a few people actually send him copies of their license without asking any other questions. My guess is that if you were to ask any questions at all, you would never hear from them again.
