I am now OTR again after being local for 9 years. I am 44. I still find "someplace" to workout at least twice a week. There is an awesome gym in New Braunfels, TX (Hwy 46). Also a great gym in Lake City, FL (I 75 @427). I have found lots of other gyms. First enter, gyms/health clubs/fitness centers in the GPS and then do a search for Wal-Mart or call them directly on where to park. There is NO REASON why truck drivers can not be healthy. Stop eating the CRAP at truck stops. We all have coolers. I start my runs with several containers of pre-cooked brown rice and lots of cooked turkey/chicken/hamburger. Then, I add this to some nice soup. Always keep juice around for a great protein shake using HEMP PROTEIN. You will not fail a drug test using hemp protein. Hemp is a great vegan protein that mixes with water or juice. Check out NUTIVA HEMP PROTEIN at amazon.com. Get a 3 pound bag for $20 and it will last 3-5 months. We need to show the world that not all truck drivers are unhealthy. More coming soon.

I put a cooler in my truck before and that's all I did was eat. Between the nympho I married and the yard work, I would say that's plenty of exercise for me. I do, however watch what I eat and only drink distilled water. I also keep my carb intake to a minimum but not afraid to grab a cheese cake if my neighbor bakes me one.

To make brown rice taste better, trying squirting some Bragg's Liquid Aminos on it (tastes like soy sauce, but healthier).
