Yeah, I know. Well I'll be hauling to ethanol plant next week too. I may have a couple of weeks left if no other trucks show up.
-
They always show up WH, that's my luck anyway. It is getting real slow here so I am venturing out next week. Started making some calls and it is amazing some of the cheap rates they through at you. I may have a round trip gig lined up that pays decent have to wait and see. Looks like tough times ahead in the hopper biz, I hope I am wrong.
wheathauler Thanks this. -
Hopefully it will kill off the rate cutters for a while. Kinda like winter kills off weeds and insects.
Big John Thanks this. -
It must be gettn rough, seen a couple robles trucks hooked to some spread axle flat beds, and two dry vans. Maybe they will kill the rates in that area instead of hoppers lol
wheathauler Thanks this. -
Many of the hopper outfits have added vans to their fleet. I am surprised that Robles would do that, figured they had the hopper loads sewed up. If he is being undercut things are bad.

If going to Mars in Joplin be sure and get an original copy of your paperwork
and not a photo copy or they will not pay.
Had a photo copy the receiver gave me I sent to the Commodity Broker that I hauled the load for and Mars would not accept it even though that's all they gave me. Took 8 months for Broker to finally get paid for the load. -

I see a few hoppers in my area. I seen alot over in Beaumont the other day I was wondering if any of you haul down this way.
-
I don't go down there. Big John might. Temps in 100's all this week.
