    Hey guys,

I am a new driver and also new to the CB. Is there a site or can someone help me out with the lingo so I don't make a fool of myself, and so I can be helpful to my fellow drivers as well. I figured the best thing to do was to reach out to the pro's and ask for help!!!!

    Thanks guys!!!!!!

Ask drivers for help when you drop your load at the dock,OR TRUCKSTOP so you can tune your CB in.Get a driver phone number for the company that you work for also maybe he can help. You also hav drivers that will not give u the time of day or help you. Watch out for them RAMBO CB JOCKS. They talk real tuff on the cb and madd at the world. One thing for sure truck drivers like too run there mouth so they always want to talk..u CAN TRY www.cb/slang.html GOOD LUCK ON THE ROAD DRIVER

Thank you guys for the help, and the options as well. I have noticed about the CB tough guys that are out there. All I am really looking for is asking about traffic up-dates and to worn other drivers about cops looking to catch us driving to fast. Thank you again guys

Lol...yea, don't use the 'lingo'. Just speak clear, fluent ENGLISH and don't act like a re-tard...all will be well.

    Here is a dumb question:

How do you get a photo added above your name on this site? I have edited my profile picture a few times and can not get it to show. Can anyone help me?

Best thing to do is listen and learn.
You will pick up on the slang the more you hear it

OQ, go to user CP in the top tool bar, select edit avatar add url or load from source.
I prefer photobucket to upload/resize pics to avatar size.
This site chooses to be abnormal in pic size restrictions etc.gotta pay to play . . . . .
