Doesn't New York have a random number generator that makes clearance signs?
Really though, there are some states on the East Coast that marks the clearance unlike the rest of the US, because they are friggin' special.
If its marked 11'7" and your 13'6" don't try it !!

Don't know how many cops even know about that vtl section. And of those that do, don't know how many would even write you for it. But it is, along with many other obscure laws, in fact enforceable.

If thats the case, cops would pull in bank on the bqe daily- the infamous 12'2" sign near atlantic ave.

NY measures from the curb to the bottom of the bridge or so I'm told...

That sign got me yesterday...Pulling my first run in the city heading up and I got off at Atlantic because of that sign...then I see all the other trucks zooming on by...I was like ffffffffuuuu...lol
But Id rather be safe than crush a trailer...My ####### puckers everyday in the city with the bridges. I dont know why NY does that. Its stupid -
They promoted him to trainer....

I'd be willing to bet if this poor excuse of a driver lost his job(which I'd be willing to bet dollars to pesos he did), will probly end up here posting a thread in the "report a bad company here" forum about how England mistreated him, cheated him and fired him for this not being his fault.....
SAd thing is though, its drivers like this that give England and all the other company's bad reputations.
You say that like its englands fault. Gimmie a break.....
There's nothing wrong with their training program. As a matter of fact, they send out safety messages all the time reminding stuff like this. Usually, even when a load is dispatched to New York city, they send out more warning messages to review your map and watch your signs. But still, let's not blame the driver, let's just blame the ccompany.....end of the road Thanks this.
